Are you guys ready for a breakthrough in MSC history? Well here it is. These are the characters REAL shooting abilities.
This is an experiment that I have done myself offline. The terms are this:
• Power or Offensive characters
• Shot at the bottom corner, just over half
• At home at the Classroom
• Shooting to the top of the net from the bottom of the stage
• Ground shot
• No Charge
• Always white ball cheat
• Standing Still
This experiment has taken me roughly 9 months to do. Basically I take every character and see how many shots it takes to score 100 goals. The character who had to take the least amount of shots in those 100 goals has the best shooting ability.
For Example: Petey: 100 goals out of 500 shots
: 1 goal every 5 shots
: 20% of shots went in
That was just an example, here are the results:
1. Bowser Jr. 100-288 1-2.88 34.7
2. Petey 100-292 1-2.92 34.2
3. Monty 10-302 1-3.02 33.1
4. Hammer 100-336 1-3.36 29.8
5. Birdo 100-354 1-3.54 28.2
6. Bowser 100-362 1-3.62 27.6
7. DK 100-363 1-3.63 27.5
8. Wario 100-369 1-3.69 27.1
Wow. Bowser Jr. makes the most shots? I bet none of you saw that coming. What a big surprise. Some other surprises include DK being 2nd last, Petey being 2nd, and Bowser being 3rd last. Honestly I thought DK would be first and Bowser Jr. would be last. But expect the unexpected with MSC.
Now I know many of you will think I either made these stats up or did the experiment wrong but I didn’t. I would not lie about a 9 month experiment that I spent many hours completing. I did the exact same thing for every character, shooting in the same place every time. So these stats are not spewed.
I really believe these are close to the real stats of their striking ability. It seems realistic. The strikers stats are not that far apart. I think this will maybe influence who you choose to play as in the future.
Also, I will tell you the streaky and consistent scorers of the bunch.
Streaky: Wario, Bowser, Bowser Jr.
Consistent: DK, Birdo, Hammer Bro, Monty, Petey
If you want a really consistent shooter who makes a lot of charged shots then look no further than Petey Piranha.
I would love to hear your comments on my experiment. Thanx NW.
PS. That 27.1 is supposed to be wario's percentage of shots.
